Britain stood still as Princess Eugenie married her long time beau, Jack Brooksbank in a star-studded ceremony at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle.
Their wedding was on the lips of everyone just like past british royal weddings. This is the second royal wedding of the year 2018 five months after Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding in May.

Princess Eugenie of York is ninth in line of succession to the British throne, after her elder sister, Princess Beatrice of York .
Princess Eugenie got married to her longtime beau and nightclub manager, Jack Brooksbank after 7 years of dating.
Who designed Princess Eugenie’s wedding dress?
Princess Eugenie’s wedding dress was designed by Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos of the British label Peter Pilotto.
No long talk guys…..Can you see the train? aww!!! Her long-sleeved ivory dress with deep V opening at the back was a beauty to behold.
Futhermore, according to reports from media outlets, Eugenie allegedly chose a dress with huge opening at the back because she didn’t want to hide the scars she had from scoliosis surgery at age 12.
Another thing you might want know is that unlike a lot of brides, Eugenie did not wear a veil. Instead, she opted for a tiara and a stunning pair of diamond and emerald earrings.

As expected of a lavish society wedding. Eugene and Jack’s wedding was filled with a large number of A-listers.
Generally, the dress code for Guests was said to be stricter than that of Harry and Meghan’s wedding.
Women were required to wear day dresses and hats, while men wore morning coats.
Ellie Goulding and Cara Delevingne were in attendance. Cara showed up in a show-stopping 3 piece black suit by Giorgio Armani and a black Chanel hat.
Cara Delevingne was such a stunner in this piece. If we had to write a list of best dressed celebrities or wedding guests at Eugene and Jack Brooksbank’s royal wedding, Cara Delevingne would definitely be amongst our top 5 winners.

Other attendees were Prince William and Kate Middleton.
Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton attended the ceremony with Prince William by her side in an A-cut knee-lenght fuscia pink dress and a medium sized fascinator head piece.

Generally, when it came to fascinators, I’m not going to lie. I kinda expected a lot of flamboyant fascinators from the wedding guests like the ones recorded at the royal wedding of Meghan and Harry in our previous post or the weird/bizarre ones at the royal ascot 2018.
However, my expectations were cut short as the guests arrived in really simple fascinator styles.

In total, there were 1,200 spaces for guests with potential attendees from the public applying via ballot. After the wedding, Eugenie and Jack went on a carriage procession through Windsor.

Who were the page boys and flower girls at Eugene and Jack’s wedding?
The page boys and flower girls were mostly children of the royal family.
Robbie Williams and Ayda Field’ s daughter, six-year-old, Theodora Williams also had the role of flower girl along side four-year-old Mia Tindall (daughter of Mike and Zara Tindall ) and Princess Eugenie’s god daughter Maud Windsor.
Autum Philips’ daughters, Savannah, seven, and Isla, six also played the role of flower girl. The page boys were Louis de Givenchy and Prince George.
In terms of broadcasting/airing the ceremony for TV viewers, in a report according townandcountrymag.com;
“BBC declined to televise Eugenie’s nuptials, paving the way for rival network ITV to air the day. Reports suggested that the BBC “turned [Eugenie’s wedding] down because they don’t think enough people will tune in and that there isn’t enough support for the Yorks.”
