Idris Elba talked about his possible involvement in the James Bond franchise, telling the magazine that he has no plans to play the iconic spy any time soon.
“Of course, if someone said to me ‘Do you want to play James Bond?,’ I’d be like, ‘Yeah! That’s fascinating to me,'” Elba said in the interview.
“But it’s not something I’ve expressed, like, Yeah, I wanna be the black James Bond.”

Elba is currently starring on the web series “Turn Up Charlie” which he also created and produced. The comedy follows a struggling DJ as he becomes a nanny to make ends meet, and features Elba, an active DJ himself, as the main character.
